Well!
In the last 5 months I've gotten married and we're expecting our first child!
We told people we weren't waiting to start having kids, but NOBODY, including Kyle and I, expected it to happen this fast!! We're absolutely thrilled though. :)
I honestly couldn't be more excited to be a mom. I've been with Kyle for 5 years this March, and I just know what an amazing father he's going to be. :) AND we're so incredibly fortunate to have the support and love of both of our families. The baby is due on July 20th, which seems like forever away, but I can't believe I've already been pregnant a little over 3 months. Next month we should find out whether it's a girl or a boy :). I would love a girl, but mostly because we already have her name picked out. Kyle and I can NOT agree on boy names!! I like a few, but he hates them all! Not just the ones I've picked out... ALL boy names!! (Taking suggestions!!!)
I'm also really excited that I get to share the pregnancy experience with my closest friend Lisa. We're literally due DAYS apart!! It's nice to have someone who doesn't think I'm totally nuts when I can't sleep because I NEED a pickle. Haha. Kyle is still getting used to it, but he's being pretty nice about it. :)
Still unemployed, still looking. Every Sunday I'm applying for jobs, and there's just NOTHING out there. It sucks. But I like working on taking care of things at the house. I hope to start a dental assisting program in August/September!! (Fingers crossed!)
Life on our end has been pretty boring... mostly just hanging out at the house. Kyle works, works on the cars, and then hangs out with me. I try to keep the house clean, work on laundry, and I'm trying to start getting the babys room ready. I also want to paint our bedroom, SOON. I have hated the color since the day I painted it last summer.
Next OB appointment is in 10 days!! (1-28-11)
